Why It Often Rains In The Movies

And why somebody has to clash a mirror,
for example, to show he's hissed
and groaned of self-hatred,
whereas actual people murmured do this.

And rarely thud on benches
in the pouring rain to trickle

    What do you think of the effect of the changes on the tone of the poem? I like rarely thud on benches a lot.

      I think that the tone of the poem remains the same. I just like my personal touches better. The poem itself is still deeply, filled with emotion.
