Acidic Tear Drops

Why It Often Rains In The Movies

And why somebody has to clash a mirror,
for example, to show he's hissed
and groaned of self-hatred,

whereas actual people murmured do this.

And rarely thud on benches
in the pouring rain to trickle

Reality V. Fantsy (Diction)

Reality 1
No one can see me, no one would stop me, no one could help me. They would just call the FBI but it would be too late. My only regret is nothing. She’d have the coffee on. There was a time during my search for a cure when I tried everything to stop including giving up sadness. The smell filled the room. I loved to drink a pot of coffee in the morning, to say hello to her after we’d spent another year together. I’d tell her now it’s going okay except for the poison. It’s going okay except for how much I miss her and him. How? Why?! I’ve never been a very good soulmate. [From Joshua Ferris’s The Unnamed]

No one can see me, no one would stop me, no one could help me. They would just call the family but it would be too late. My only regret is something. She’d have the coffee on. There was a time during my search for a cure when I tried everything to stop including giving up happiness. The smell filled the house. I loved to drink a bottle of Svedka  in the evening, to say farewell to him after we’d spent another month together. I’d tell her now it’s going okay except for the poison. It’s going okay except for how much I miss her and them. what? when?! I’ve never been a very good fling. [From Joshua Ferris’s The Unnamed]

The first paragraph was written based off of what society expects from couples within in todays time. The second paragraph was written based off of what people subconsciously want but don’t fulfill because of their strong morals. The whole tone changed completely from being to wanting. Some people will live life how it’s expected to be lived or live life however they want. Not so much thought behind the choices that they may make.

Deconstruction

Beauty is in the eye of Hell.
Hot as beholder.

Poor as snow.
Pure as dirt.

Bread and Sun.
Bring on the wine.

Every path has its ends.

Every stick has two thorns.

* My favorite cliche actually is Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This reminds me to realize that everything I visualize or interpret really depends on how I view things as an individual.

Welcome Blog Post

This semester I look forward to working together as a class to learn new types of poetry and the process of creating poetry. Getting to know everyone’s different styles of writing could help us find many ways to create many beautiful pieces of work. My goal for this class is to be able to create an assignment that would be worth me not second-guessing myself as a writer. I want to feel confidant on what I will be posting within my blog and sharing with my fellow classmates. I hope everyone in our class has a great semester.
